Brecht Wright Gander made his debut in China by participating in Objective's exhibition CO-EXIST. During the same year, Objective proudly presented his artworks during ART021 Art Fair. Since then, his "bizarre" and thought-provoking artworks has attracted extensive media attention both in China and abroad, appearing on the covers and inside pages of mainstream magazines such as Vogue, InSTYLE,SoFigaro, Design Milk, and more.

Gander nurtures his curiosity and fuels his research-driven practice with his childhood memories, personal references, and philosophical thoughts. He treats functionality as a ground for aesthetic play. With unyielding confidence, Gander engages a multitude of unconventional materials and colours. He describes his unique works as "a culmination of many collisions."
